The laboratory helps students understand how basic MOSFET characteristics and analog building blocks are used to develop integrated circuits with desired performance. Circuit design and verification are performed using Tanner EDA tool, where students learn to develop schematics\/netlisting, select appropriate transistor dimensions and biasing conditions, perform AC\/DC\/transient analyses, and evaluate the effect of different parameters.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The laboratory aims to bridge the gap between theoretical concepts and practical circuit design. It also develops students&#8217; skills in circuit optimization, performance evaluation, troubleshooting, and understanding the design trade-offs involved in low-power and high-performance CMOS analog integrated circuits.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Course Objective<\/span><\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"color: #000000;\">To impart the knowledge of basic MOS device Physics,
