About Alumni Cell<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Alumni Cell was established in January 2014 with a vision to maintain long term and healthy relationship with the alumni of Bharati Vidyapeeth\u2019s College of Engineering, New Delhi. The prime objective of the cell is to organize alumni meets and support the college in various directions like placements, guest lectures, industrial visits, and training.<\/span><\/p>\n

Purpose<\/span><\/h3>\n

The purpose of this Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) is to ensure proper coordination of activities of BVCOE Alumni Association on behalf of the Institution.<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  • To provide a forum to establish a link between the alumni, faculty, staff and students of the institute and to facilitate interaction between past and present students.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • To contribute towards the welfare of the alumni.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • To assist the alumni with their technical difficulties.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • To bring awareness among students about career opportunities available in industry.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • To create awareness among students about the latest technology and market trends.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • To share updates regarding the progress of the college, placements, and to gather suggestions from alumni for academic and institutional improvement.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • To provide opportunities for alumni to express their views about the college.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    a) Scope<\/span><\/h4>\n

    This SOP is applicable to all activities involving both the Alumni Association and the Institution.<\/span><\/p>\n

    b) Responsibilities<\/span><\/h4>\n

    All members of the Alumni Cell constituted for the said purpose are responsible for implementing and coordinating the activities described in this SOP.<\/span><\/p>\n

    c) Structure<\/span><\/h4>\n
      \n
    • One faculty member from each department.<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Student representatives from each department, preferably from III and IV year B.Tech.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Details of Activities<\/span><\/h3>\n
        \n
      • Obtain outgoing student lists, department-wise, with all relevant information from MTPS \/ IISC.<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Collect and maintain information about distinguished alumni (achievements, career progress, etc.).<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Identify alumni services and expertise that can benefit the institute.<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Engage alumni through seminars, guest lectures, workshops, and other participatory events.<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Coordinate with the Alumni Association to conduct an annual alumni meet (usually in December), hold the general body meeting, and oversee the election of the new executive committee.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
