VAIBHAV<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u2022 Subject \u2013 Electrical Science<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Electrical Science Laboratory in the Department of Applied Sciences provides students with practical exposure to the fundamental concepts of electrical engineering. The lab is equipped with essential instruments and experimental setups for studying basic electrical circuits, measurements, and electrical machines. It enables students to perform hands-on experiments related to AC\/DC circuits and electrical components. Under faculty guidance, the laboratory helps students strengthen their understanding of theoretical concepts through practical learning. Each practical batch comprises of 30 students with three students working together on one set of equipment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">The laboratory manuals, list of experiments, precautions to be taken and instrument charts have been displayed in the lab.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">\u00b7 In 1st &amp; 2nd Semester \u2013 10 experiments taken from GGSIPU list.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">Experiment List for the Semester-I\/II<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">1. To study the applications of CRO for measurement of voltage, frequency and phase of signals.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">2. To verify Thevenin\u2019s Theorem.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">3. To verify Norton\u2019s Theorem.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">4. To control a single lamp from two different places, using 2-way switch circuit.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">5. To study an RLC series circuit and draw the phasor diagram.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">6. To measure the single-phase power and power factor in a single-phase ac circuit by using three voltmeters.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">7. To perform open circuit and short circuit test on single phase transformer.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">8. To study speed control of DC shunt Motor.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">9. To verify maximum power transfer theorem.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\">10.
