Empowering Leadership: The NCC Girls’ Wing at BVCOE
The National Cadet Corps (NCC) Girls’ Wing at Bharati Vidyapeeth’s College of Engineering (BVCOE) stands as a beacon of empowerment, discipline, and excellence. Dedicated to nurturing the next generation of women leaders, the Girls’ Wing provides a transformative environment where young women can develop the resilience, confidence, and patriotic spirit necessary to excel in all walks of life.
Our Senior Wing (NCC Girls Unit) is a burgeoning community with a sanctioned strength of 54 seats. With a dedicated cohort of cadets already enrolled and undergoing training, the unit is rapidly becoming a cornerstone of campus life. Affiliated with 6DBN, Kirti Nagar, our cadets engage in a comprehensive curriculum that includes specialized drills, personality development, and community outreach programs.
Vision and Training
The Girls’ Wing at BVCOE is committed to the NCC motto, “Unity and Discipline.” Beyond the rigours of physical training and weapon handling, the unit emphasises social responsibility and character building. Cadets are encouraged to participate in diverse activities, ranging from:

- Adventure Sports, including trekking and mountaineering.
- Social Service & Community Development, focusing on environmental awareness, blood donation drives, and women’s empowerment initiatives.
Leadership and Supervision
The Girls’ Wing operates under the dedicated supervision of CTO Ms. Kajal Kaul. Under her mentorship, the unit focuses on bridging the gap between academic excellence and grassroots leadership, ensuring that every girl cadet is prepared to take on responsibilities in the defense forces, corporate sectors, or civil services.
