Designation: Faculty Incharge, Horizon BVCOE

With his dynamic presence and approachable nature, He plays a pivotal role in nurturing creativity, discipline, and collaboration among students. His dedication to fostering a vibrant, learning-driven environment truly embodies the spirit of Horizon.

1. Udbhav Mathur (President)

Info: [ECE 3RD YEAR]

  • Directs all departments for seamless operations.
  • Represents the society in all official matters.
  • Approves key decisions, budgets, and collaborations.
  • Ensures the society’s mission and vision.

2. Dev Dogra (Vice President)

  • Manage and grow the society’s Instagram, LinkedIn, and other handles
  • Post event updates, announcements, and highlights
  • Maintain a consistent content calendar and brand tone
  • Engage with followers through comments, DMs, and trends

3. Shiv Arora (General Secretary)

  • Backbone of event execution — from planning to on-ground coordination
  • Conceptualize and plan events (themes, schedules, logistics)
  • Book venues, manage permissions, seating, and equipment
  • Handle registration, crowd flow, and team allocation during events
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth event delivery

4. Ananya Priya (Joint Secretary)

  • Voice and face of the society at events
  • Host events, competitions, and formal ceremonies
  • Write and rehearse scripts for anchoring and presentations
  • Represent the society at inter-college events or collaborations
  • Coordinate with Event & Management to time speeches and transitions

5. Shreya Sharma (Joint Secretary)

  • Outreach and promotions team
  • Promote events across college campuses and online
  • Handle offline promotion — posters, banners, announcements
  • Engage with class representatives and societies for word-of-mouth reach
  • Collaborate with Social Media for coordinated campaigns

MIC DROP WARS

Date: 30th October 2025

Info: Mic Drop Wars, organized by Horizon, engaged 35 participants across a Group Discussion and One-on-One Debate, testing communication, reasoning, and argumentation skills. Judged by Ms. Tushika Rawat and Ms. Shruti Mishra, the event sharpened participants’ confidence and critical thinking under the guidance of Dr. Sumit Chawla.

TECH TALKS

Date:  January 24, 2025

Info: “Tech Talks” was a session focused on building career-ready tech skills, covering iOS development, LinkedIn optimization, GitHub, and interview strategies, along with an interactive quiz to reinforce learning.

AIPPM 3.0 

Date: 1st May,2024

Info: This Model Parliament debated General Elections 2024. Delegates discussed secularism, women empowerment, and education reforms. Faculty mentor Dr. Kaushal Sharma supervised proceedings. Participants represented diverse political perspectives. Awards recognized outstanding contributions. Best Delegate and High Commendations were presented. A prize pool of ₹3000 motivated engagement.

Pixel to Pitch

Date: October 18, 2024

Featured during BVEST 2024, “Pixel to Pitch” was a dual-challenge competition where participants pitched a business idea and developed a landing page to present it, combining entrepreneurial thinking with technical skills.

 

VIMARSH ’25

Date: January 11, 2025

VIMARSH ’25 was an online debate on “One Nation, One Election,” where participants discussed its benefits like cost efficiency and governance, as well as challenges such as constitutional issues and regional autonomy, through structured speeches and rebuttals.

MUN Workshop – Unfiltered

The MUN Workshop – Unfiltered was an educational session introducing participants to MUN procedures, including GSL, caucuses, and resolution writing, while building skills in research, diplomacy, and strategic debating.
