Introduction

The Artificial Intelligence Applications Lab of CSE Department is a dedicated research and development facility focused on the integration and application of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies across various engineering disciplines. The lab aims to explore and implement advanced AI methodologies, such as machine learning, data analytics, and computational intelligence, to address complex engineering challenges. Its primary objective is to optimize processes, improve system performance, and enhance decision-making in areas including robotics, automation, control systems, signal processing, computer vision, and predictive maintenance. By bridging the gap between AI and engineering, the lab strives to drive innovation, improve operational efficiency, and contribute to the advancement of engineering practices in both academic and industrial settings.

Objective of the Laboratory

  • To acquire knowledge on intelligent systems and agents.
  • To understand fundamental concepts of machine learning and learning techniques.
  • To understand the fundamental concepts and techniques of natural language processing (NLP).
  • Familiarize with soft computing concepts, introduce and use the idea of Neural networks, fuzzy logic and use of heuristics based on human experience.
