Network Security and Cryptography Lab
Subject Code- CIE 318P
Introduction
The Network Security and Cryptography Lab offers hands-on experience in securing digital communications and data. Participants will explore key concepts like firewalls, intrusion detection systems, VPNs, and encryption techniques (symmetric and asymmetric) to protect networks and sensitive information. The lab covers cryptographic algorithms, digital signatures, and secure protocols, helping students apply these skills to real-world scenarios. By the end, participants will be proficient in securing networks and implementing cryptographic solutions to safeguard data in today’s connected world.
Objective of the Laboratory
- To understand basics of Network Security and Cryptographic techniques.
- Identify the essential and up-to-date concepts, algorithms, protocols, tools, and methodology of Security .
- To learn about how to maintain the Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of a data.
