Industry Interaction provide practical industry experience to students and are beneficial in advancing their careers. The gap between academia and the corporate world is filled through knowledge dissemination from Industry officials through Webinars, Conclaves, Competitions, and many more engaging activities throughout the session. Internships for college students is also one of way to provide practical experience that helps students map out their career trajectory and future goals. On 16th October 2024, the TCS Leadership Connect Program at Bharati Vidyapeeth’s College of Engineering, New Delhi brought together academia and industry leaders to foster innovation and future-ready talent. This event served as a crucial platform for enhancing collaboration between educational institutions and industry leaders, driving forward the agenda of skilling, innovation, and leadership development. The program gathered senior leaders, Mr. Rakesh Dawar(Vice President at Tata Consultancy Services), Mr. Shyam Sayee Krishnamoorthy(HR HEAD – UK Telecom Unit) , Mr. Rajit Sikka(Regional Head Academic Alliances India North at Tata Consultancy Services Ltd), Mr. Vikas Gupta(Regional Talent Acquisition Head – North India at Tata Consultancy Services) from TCS alongside academic representatives and aspiring students. The focus of the event was to inspire the next generation of engineers and future leaders by equipping them with the skills necessary to thrive in the fast-evolving digital world. The Leadership Connect program aimed to bridge the gap between academia and industry through interactive discussions, keynote presentations, and collaborative workshops. TCS leaders shared their insights on cutting-edge trends, the importance of skilling in the digital age, and the role of Innovation in engineering education. They also highlighted initiatives aimed at empowering students through hands-on exposure to the latest technologies like AI, blockchain, and cloud computing, thereby preparing them to become Future Leaders in the IT and tech sectors.
One of the key aspects of the program was its emphasis on Skilling, ensuring that students and educational institutions are aligned with the current demands of the technology landscape. TCS continues to focus on building capabilities through its Campus Connect program, designed to nurture student talent, foster innovation, and create a pipeline of industry-ready graduates.
This leadership initiative reflects TCS’s commitment to advancing Engineering Education, fostering academic-industry collaboration, and promoting the development of skills that will empower students to succeed in a digitally driven world. The event concluded with the leaders reinforcing their dedication to nurturing the next generation of talent through continual engagement with academia and providing avenues for students to learn, innovate, and lead in their careers.

A workshop on “Business 4.0 and AI/ML” is organized under the guidance of TCS experts on 04.01.2023. We would like to appreciate Mr. Rajit Sikka, Mr. Vikas Gupta, Mr. Apporva Agarwal, and Mr. Nitin Saini for their efforts to make it a successful event.
TCS visited Bharati Vidyapeeth’s College of Engineering, New Delhi on 16th Jan 2023 for the post-offer engagement program. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to Gauri Upadhyay, and Midhun Krishna C K from TCS for conducting a session on TCS Xplore. It was a wonderful program.
A workshop on the problem-solving approach was organized by Incedo at Bharati Vidyapeeth’s College of Engineering as a pre-placement activity on 15th March 2023. The event was held in the college auditorium, and was attended by a large number of students and faculty members. The workshop aimed to help the students understand and develop effective problem-solving skills. We are thankful to Mr. Gagan Gupta, Mr. Anuj Verma and Ms. Richa Kaushik from Incedo for taking such a great initiative.
Training and Placement department organized an industrial visit at Asia’s Biggest CISCO Training Labs at Network bulls, Gurgaon for third year student on 5th and 9th January 2023. The objective of this industrial visit was to provide the knowledge to the students about the networking as a basic level and job prospective in this field Student have given a theory class of 1.5 hours and practical session of 2 hours. In this session, Students given opportunity to acquire live theoretical and practical training on networking and working of Cisco Routers, Switches, and Firewalls. Also students visited the Data Center lab fully equipped with over 2000 CISCO Routers, Switches, Firewalls, IPS Systems, ISE Servers, Call Managers, IP Phones. All students who attended have been awarded with a certificate for this visit. We are very much thankful to Mr. Surender and Mr. Parmod, (both trainer are having more than 10 years of experience on networking field) for making this event successful.
Grape City, inc. is a privately held, multinational software corporation based in Sendai, Japan, that develops software products and provides outsourced product development services, consulting services, software, and Customer relationship management services.
Grape City visited campus on 19th April 2022. 3rd year students availed the opportunity and were selected on the basis on assessments test and group discussions for doing internship in Grape city campus.

Training and Placement Cell, BVCOE along with faculty and students participated the C# Corner Annual Conference & BCrypt India Web 3.0 Roadshow to be held on October 14th – 16th, 2022 at Hyatt Centric, Janakpuri, Delhi. The conference features many industry guest speakers, keynote speakers, workshops, and motivational talks that significantly benefited our students. The key technologies that will be highlighted at the conference were .NET, Web, Mobile, Cloud, Data, Security, Web 3.0, NFTs, Metaverse, DeFi, Blockchain, and Crypto.
