BRIEF DESCRIPTION:

Formed on 2nd November, 2015, Enactus BVCOE is the student chapter of Enactus (previously known as Students In Free Enterprise) and works to change the lives of less fortunate and bring a change in the society through entrepreneurial actions. We are proud to be the first ones to introduce Enactus culture in IP University and to transform students into young entrepreneurs.

PREVIOUS PROJECTS:

  • Abhiman

Enactus BVCOE’s Project Abhiman is dedicated to improving the lives of manual scavengers. By organizing rallies and providing safety equipment, the project raises awareness about their plight and demands for their rights. It also educates them about their rights and fosters a supportive community. Overall, Project Abhiman strives to uplift the lives of manual scavengers and build a more dignified future for them.

  • Aranyani

Enactus BVCOE’s Project Aranyani is a sustainable initiative aimed at promoting environmental conservation and urban greening. Utilizing hydroponics, a soil-less method of cultivation, the project focuses on planting saplings in a controlled environment. By eliminating the need for traditional soil, hydroponics ensures efficient water usage, reduces the risk of soil erosion, and minimizes the environmental impact of agricultural practices. Project Aranyani’s innovative approach not only contributes to a greener future but also provides valuable hands-on experience for students in sustainable agriculture and environmental stewardship.

  • Aarogya

Enactus BVCOE’s Niramaya is a social initiative aimed at improving menstrual hygiene access for women and girls in underprivileged areas of New Delhi. The project plans to install sanitary pad vending machines in schools, metro stations and other community centers, ensuring constant availability of menstrual hygiene products. Alongside, Niramaya will conduct workshops to promote menstrual health awareness, aiming to empower young girls aged 10-25 to lead healthier and more dignified lives.

CURRENT PROJECTS:

  • Dharti

Enactus BVCOE’s project Dharti is a social initiative dedicated to supporting and empowering potters, preserving their traditional craft, and promoting sustainable living. Through collaboration and partnerships, the project helps potters sell their unique creations, providing them with a platform to reach a wider market and generate income. Additionally, Project Dharti collaborates with local communities to create tote bags and pouches, incorporating traditional pottery techniques into these everyday items. By combining the artistry of potters with the functionality of these accessories, the project aims to enhance the value and appeal of these products, while also preserving traditional craftsmanship.

  • Aavarnan

Enactus BVCOE’s project Aavarnan is a socially responsible enterprise dedicated to promoting sustainability and creating positive social impact. By focusing on the production of recycled stationery, posters, and denim wallets, the project aims to reduce waste, conserve resources, and contribute to a greener future. The use of eco-friendly materials and recycled products is a core value of Project Aavarnan. By utilizing materials that would otherwise end up in landfills, the project helps to reduce the environmental footprint of these products and promote a circular economy. Through its sustainable practices and social impact initiatives, Project Aavarnan is making a significant contribution to a more sustainable and just world.
