Introduction

The Microelectronics (ME) Lab is a state-of-the-art facility designed to provide hands-on experience in MOSFET-based circuit design, analysis, and layout development. This lab serves as a crucial foundation for students specializing in VLSI design, offering them an opportunity to work with industry-standard CAD tools and hardware platforms. The lab supports both theoretical learning and practical implementation, enabling students to understand the behavior of MOS transistors, CMOS inverters, and digital circuits.

Course Objectives :

  1. To impart the knowledge of MOSFET based circuits and the small signal models of MOS transistors.
  2. To impart the knowledge of CMOS inverter and digital circuitry using MOSFET.
  3. To give knowledge of combinational and sequential circuit design using NMOS, PMOS, CMOS technology.
  4. To give knowledge of designing of dynamic logic circuit, clocking issues and low power design concept.
