Computational Methods  Lab

Subject Code – ES 251

Introduction

The Computational Methods Lab of CSE Department is dedicated to the application of numerical techniques and algorithms for addressing complex engineering challenges. Students engage in computer simulations, mathematical modeling, and data analysis to investigate a range of topics, including structural analysis, fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and optimization. Emphasizing hands-on experience, the lab provides instruction in various software tools and programming languages, empowering participants to analyze real-world scenarios and develop innovative solutions. By integrating theoretical concepts with practical applications, the lab equips students to navigate the challenges encountered in engineering practice and research.

Objective of the Laboratory

  • Ability to develop programming for mathematical models to solve engineering problems.
  • Ability to apply the programming on interpolation methods and numerical integration.
  • Ability to solve simultaneous linear equations and curve fitting by mathematical coding.
  • Ability to create the numerically programming to solve ordinary differential equations that are initial value or boundary value.
