Data Structures Lab
Subject Code- CIC 255
Introduction
The Data Structures Lab of CSE Department is dedicated to the exploration of fundamental concepts and practical applications of data structures in computer science. Students are instructed in the design, implementation, and analysis of various data structures, including arrays, linked lists, stacks, queues, trees, and graphs. Through hands-on coding exercises and projects, participants enhance their problem-solving abilities and gain proficiency in utilizing these structures to optimize algorithms and improve computational efficiency. By integrating theoretical knowledge with practical implementation, the lab prepares students for advanced topics in software development and computer engineering.
Objective of the Laboratory
- Ability to remember and understand the difference between structured data and data structure.
- Ability to create common basic data structures and trees
- Ability to evaluate the knowledge of sets, heaps and graphs
- Ability to apply basic knowledge of sorting and searching Algorithms and analyze the performance
