Computer Networks Lab
Subject Code- CIC 355
Introduction
The Computer Networks Laboratory of CSE Department, providing students with practical experience in the design, implementation, and analysis of computer networks. Through a series of structured experiments, students gain hands-on exposure to fundamental networking concepts, including network topologies, protocols, data transmission, routing, switching, and network security. The laboratory focuses on familiarizing students with the configuration and management of network devices, the monitoring of network traffic, and the troubleshooting of common networking issues. By bridging theoretical knowledge with practical application, this laboratory equips students with the skills and expertise necessary to address the complexities of modern network design, optimization, and management.
Objective of the Laboratory
- Ability to understand different internetworking devices, types of networks and their characterstics.
- Ability to apply discrete event simulator to network simulations.
- Ability to analyse pcap file process.
- Ability to design P2P and CSMA channel networks.
